The annual Joyful Noise Carnival is coming soon- Friday, May 3, from 6:30-8:00! Join us for games, snacks, prizes, an art walk and fun all throughout the center!
Each year, as a fundraising effort for the next year's carnival and other fun center events, we hold a raffle drawing. This year, we are excited to be doing not only a raffle, but a silent auction and classroom "bottle bank" competition as well! Read about each below:
"Bag" Raffle:
Set up in the JN office, this raffle consists of TONS of prize offerings from area businesses. Stop and check out the variety of prize collections- each collection has a corresponding paper bag that describes the items within it. Simply purchase your raffle tickets in the office ($2 each or an arm's length for $20), put your name on your ticket(s), and drop it in the bag(s) you hope to win! Winners will be drawn at the carnival (need not be present to win).
Silent Auction:
We are holding a silent auction for a green 10ft Sundolphin sit-in kayak w/paddle, a blue 8ft Sundolphin sit-on kayak w/paddle, OR a 30-minute photography session with Chantal Elise Photography! Auction bid sheets are located in the JN entry, and the kayaks can be seen in the JN office and downstairs hallway.
Classroom "Bottle Bank" Competition:
Outside each classroom, you'll find a Coke bottle bank. Each class is collecting change from now until the carnival. The classroom with the most money will earn a special prize! Help your child's class win by filling up their bottle bank!
*All proceeds from the raffle, silent auction and bottle banks will be used to fund next year's carnival, future center events, and improvements to our play-yards.
